What is Tâmara?
We are a confectionary studio making chocolate-coated dates by hand. Each piece is a single Medjool date, pitted, filled with a roasted nut, and enrobed in single-origin dark or milk chocolate.
What kind of chocolate do you use?
Two house chocolates: a 70% dark from Ecuadorian cacao and a 38% milk from a small Belgian estate. Both are single-origin, ethically sourced, and tempered to a clean snap.
Which nuts do you fill with?
Pistachio (Iran), almond (California), walnut (Chile), cashew (Vietnam), macadamia (South Africa), and hazelnut (Piedmont). Some boxes are single-nut; others are assortments. The product page lists exactly what is in each box.
What allergens should I know about?
Our kitchen processes tree nuts, dairy, soy lecithin, and trace wheat. We cannot guarantee a nut-free product even where the visible recipe excludes nuts, because all of our chocolate runs through the same equipment. Each product page lists the specific allergens for that recipe — please re-read it before every order, as recipes may change.
How long do they keep?
Best within 4 weeks of dispatch, stored below 22°C away from direct sunlight. No refrigerator needed; in fact, the fridge can dull the chocolate’s sheen. Each box is dated on the underside.
How do you ship?
UAE and GCC: 2–3 days, AED 25 (same-day available within Dubai & Abu Dhabi for AED 80). Internationally we ship to the EU (DDP, duties pre-paid), UK, USA, Canada, and Brazil. Full rates and transit times are on the Shipping & returns page.
Can I return my order?
Because chocolate-coated dates are perishable food, we cannot accept opened or change-of-mind returns. If your order arrives damaged or out of temperature, photograph the box within 48 hours of delivery and email hello@tokobr.com with your order number — we will replace or refund the affected items without question.
